General Questions

What exactly is a nature outing?

A nature outing is a thoughtfully planned experience designed to safely expose participants to the outdoors. Outings are tailored to the group’s abilities, comfort level, and needs, and may include scenic visits, light activities, and educational enrichment.

Are you willing to work with special needs adults?

Yes. Supporting people with special needs is central to our mission, and all programs are planned with accessibility and safety in mind.

Who typically participates in your programs?

We most often work with group homes, community organizations, and programs serving people with special needs or limited access to outdoor experiences.

Booking & Planning

Do you come to us, or do we come to you?

Both options are available. We offer guided nature outings that include transportation, as well as onsite nature programs for groups unable or uncomfortable traveling.

Do you offer overnight outings?

No. At this time, we only offer day-based outings and programs.

How far in advance should we book?

We are typically booked about three weeks out, so we recommend reaching out as early as possible.

What does the planning process look like?

Our process usually includes:

  1. An introduction call
  2. One or more planning conversations
  3. Execution of the outing or program

Most projects take 3–4 weeks from start to finish.

Pricing & Details

How are your services priced?

Pricing is project-based and flexible, depending on the group’s needs and budget. Our goal is to make each experience as accessible as possible.

What factors affect the cost?

Costs may vary based on destination, group needs, and budget considerations.

Are food and beverages included?

Food and beverages are not included by default, but may be added as an option.

Participation & Expectations

Are there age restrictions?

Yes. Our programs are not a good fit for children under the age of three.

Are chaperones required?

In most cases, yes. Chaperone requirements are discussed during planning to ensure safety and comfort for everyone involved.

Do you work weekends or evenings?

As needed, depending on the project. Availability is discussed during planning.

Fundraising & Support

Can our group help with fundraising for future events?

Yes! We welcome fundraising support and would love to discuss ideas. Please contact us so we can talk through options together.

After the Program

What if someone isn’t satisfied with the experience?

If there is ever a concern, we enter into an open discussion about the issue and work together to find a remedy.

Do you provide ongoing support after a program?

No. Our involvement concludes after the outing or program is completed.
